Why peace poem

Who does not want to see peace all over the land and skies? Sawsan Al-Shamiri, I am a child who loves peace I have always believed in peace Until I saw something on TV, Something not expected at all. I saw on the screen war and destruction I saw children sleeping in tents They lost the embrace and protection of their parents I saw children who are as skinny as ghosts I saw schools and parks empty of children. I cried from what I saw and went to the source of love, my father I asked him: Where did peace go?

Where are schools and parks? Where is medicine and where is food? Ammar Alshami, We have more than what we could stand. We need the war to end very soon. I am a child of the light. I fear darkness. Noor Yaseen Alshaibani, It affected me a lot and I was really upset. I dream to fly like a dove My laughter races the clouds I engrave flowers into the land, So peace prevails.

I am the child of the light, I yearn for the sun, Do not break my longing I fear the darkness. Image Credit. Khalil Gibran 1 poem. Peace Poets From Members. For, love and peace, must unite, If we hope, to win this fight.

Each of us, love must send, For peace to prosper, and war to end. The above poem about peace makes an even closer connection between love and peace. The first two lines in the first stanza summarize the message of the poem quite well. Peace will never exist or last in the absence of love. The poem may be referring to world peace. However, it may still apply to individual or inner peace, because a person will never achieve or reach inner peace without love in his or her heart.

You must be able to love yourself, if you wish to gain inner peace. A prime example of someone that has accomplished this is - the Dalai Lama. This poem about peace and war starts off by reminding us the cruelty associated with war. In the second line it also mentions that war is often a tool used by politicians. War is awful, war is cruel, For politicians, it's a tool. Sometimes views and ideas vary, Doesn't mean, hate we should carry. Instead, choose peace and unity, That focuses on community.

It will help so many lives, Avoid tears, from countless wives. War and peace, opposite sides, Lessons learned, history provides. Education is the hope, Future struggles, need to cope. If not, many will end up suffering, not just the soldiers, but also citizens caught in the crossfire, and the families and friends of all the various victims.

Written by Martin Dejnicki. The first verse was written to be inspirational. It talks about wars and how we should rid our world of wars and promote peace instead. The terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, lead to a war. For the 10th anniversary I wrote this Poem.

World Peace When wars and conflicts totally cease, In our world, there shall be peace. By tree. Peace Is Peace is something we all seek, When we lack it, we feel weak. Peace will definitely help make our lives complete.

With peace comes joy and happiness and excitement, and many other positive emotions. Community Peace When there's harmony, there is peace, Joy on earth does increase.

Peace Brings Peace brings freedom that we crave, From great stress, it shall save. I myself am guilty of this. Inner Peace Inner peace; wish to attain, Peace of mind, one shall gain. Poems about Peace for Children Here's a few poems about peace for children. Peace is Kind Since the day of your birth, We have hoped for peace on earth. The world is charged with the grandeur of God.

It will flame out, like shining from shook foil; It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod? Generations have trod, have trod, have trod; And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil; And wears man's smudge and shares man's smell: the soil Is bare now, nor can foot feel, being shod. And for all this, nature is never spent; There lives the dearest freshness deep down things; And though the last lights off the black West went Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs-- Because the Holy Ghost over the bent World broods with warm breast and with ah!
